 Why a pineapple as our logo?

The pineapple is the symbol of hospitality.
We are a hospitable study association related to
NHL Stenden International Hospitality management school,
so nothing is more suitable than a pineapple!
 "We stand tall, wear a crown and are sweet on the inside"

who are we ?  WIE ZIJN WIJ ? 

Hospitality Network for Students, also knows as HNS, strives to be the link between NHL Stenden Hotel Management School Leeuwarden and its students. By organizing events related to hospitality, we are able to create a valuable experience and network for all our members. During the year we organise several events such as fieltrips to hotelss, workshops, themed parties . 

We are the Hospitality Network for HNS Students, the study association for Hotel Management at NHL Stenden in Leeuwarden. We bridge the gap between the program, the industry, and you.  
Throughout the year we organize a variety of activities, from field trips to workshops and theme parties.

THE BEST EVENINGS

This is an opportunity to meet new people from different years and different cultures. Enjoy the best conversations with a good glass of wine or a cold beer. 

ALWAYS FUN

Every month HNS organizes an event that fits the season's theme. This is an opportunity for us to get together, and get dressed and enjoy each other's company. 

LET'S GO

HNS organizes an annual field trip. In the past, we went to several hotels in Amsterdam. Think about Okura, Raddison Blue, NH Krasnapolsky, The Pulitzer and more. 

During these field trips, members receive a tour of the hotel and enjoy workshops. By visiting all of these companies, choosing an internship can become easier. 

Always willing to learn

Our workshops are designed to bridge the gap betweenn theory and practice. They give students the chance to learn real industry skills, and build their confidence for internships and future jobs. Think about :  what looks good on your resume, what should you post on your LinkedIn and why networking is beneficial nowadays?
